Antimagnetic Chronometer – Original Box & Papers

The Rolex Milgauss, introduced in the 1950s, was created at a time when science, industry, and technology began placing new demands on mechanical watches. The reference 1019, launched in the late 1960s and produced until 1988, represents the most refined evolution of this now-legendary timepiece.

It was specifically engineered to meet the needs of scientists at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research). Thanks to an internal Faraday cage, it withstands magnetic fields of up to 1,000 gauss—where traditional watches would lose all precision.

This version features a vertically brushed silver dial, minimalist and highly legible, with black hands accented in red and a slim red-tipped seconds hand. Its smooth bezel and robust Oyster bracelet enhance its technical and professional character.

This rare 1973 example is in exceptional condition and comes complete with original box, papers, chronometer certificate, and Milgauss brochure—a truly unique opportunity on today’s market.

1-year in-house warranty on proper functioning.
